Addictions and other Character Flaws

I am a complexity of randomosity. I love the dark for its secrets and solace, a downward transcendental redemption for the sins committed in the daylight. My life is an addiction. Much as sometimes I may want to turn away and start from scratch, somehow it draws me back in. I want to remember the things most important, so here's the proof - and another addiction.

Rain Again

Actually, not really - surprisingly. It's been an entire week of rain, and today God decided "let there be light...again." But that's nothing compared to the pain...My heart is about the only thing that doesn't hurt today. I'll spare the gory details; suffice to say that a Vicodin and two sleeping pills later, I am so out of it but the pain has ceased to matter. And for those who actually know me, the medicine is a monumental thing. I don't take medicine. Ever. I don't even like taking Tylenol for my migraines. But all I wanted was for the pain to disappear, or at least hide for awhile, and so far it's working.
All I have to say is...wait for it...Thank God for Brian. There, surprised? He's so sweet; he even offered to come and pick me up for school tomorrow so I wouldn't have to drive! Speaking of which, he came with me to Grandma's house on Saturday to stay the night, and we stayed up until 3 am just talking about things. I don't want to go into details because it was so special, just between us, but I love him even more, if such a thing was ever possible.
And there, I was wrong. Thunder...big thunder. God loves laughing at me; if it wasn't affectionate teasing I'd kinda feel bad. <3
